Psychiatric Services
Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluations
We perform a thorough evaluation including comprehensive psychiatric and medical history, family and social history, in-depth exploration of your symptoms, and laboratory and other testing to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Psychiatric Medication Management
We provide you with options for pharmaceutical treatment, making sure you have a good understanding of their potential risks and benefits, and prescribe medications tailored to your particular needs, priorities, and preferences.
Psychotherapy and Counseling
We provide an individualized, integrative approach that values your unique personality and life story. We offer specialized expertise in working with the nervous system to help you improve self-awareness, release old patterns, and create peace and calm in your life.
Specialized Services
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
TMS uses a magnetic coil to send pulses into specific areas of the brain with dysfunctional activity, regulating brain activity and rapidly alleviating symptoms, even when medications and therapy have previously failed. We offer two cutting edge types of TMS: Brainsway Deep TMS and BTL BTL Exomind TMS.
Brainsway Deep TMS safely and effectively treats moderate to severe and treatment resistant Depression, Anxious Depression, and OCD, and is covered by many insurance plans.
BTL Exomind TMS treats mild to moderate depression and anxiety in a fraction of the time required by conventional TMS. Exomind can also be used to optimize mental health in people who don’t have a psychiatric disorder, but who just want to feel and function their very best.
Neurocognitive Testing
We utilize an evidence-based and well-validated computerized neurocognitive testing platform to help clarify and confirm your diagnosis. Testing can provide clear, objective evidence of Memory Disorders, ADHD, Slowed Cognitive Processing, Executive Function Disorder, and other types of cognitive dysfunction. It can assess the severity of your symptoms and provide support for applications for school and work accommodations, FMLA, and disability.
Functional and Holistic Psychiatry
We provide a holistic, patient-centered approach to psychiatry that recognizes the interconnectedness of mental and physical health and seeks to identify and address the underlying root causes of psychiatric conditions. We combine conventional modern psychopharmaceuticals and cutting-edge treatments such as TMS or KAP with evidence-based complementary therapies such as vitamins, herbal supplements, peptides, massage, yoga, and meditation, acknowledging that the combination of both conventional and complementary treatments can be more effective than either on their own.
Telehealth
We are always happy to see you in person at our clinics, but bad weather, lack of transportation, lack of childcare, and inability to take time off work can make it difficult to get to the clinic for an appointment. When an in-person appointment won't work for you, telehealth can be a convenient alternative. You can trust that you will receive the same excellent quality of care that Owl & Eagle Health and Wellness is known for, whether you see us in person at our clinics in Denver and Golden, or via telehealth anywhere in Colorado.

Gender Affirming Care
Like a beautiful butterfly, we can help you transform and fly. Whether you identify as male, female, both, neither, or your gender identity changes by the day, we’ll support you in embodying your true self. We provide empowering team-based psychiatric care and psychotherapy for gender dysphoria, gender affirming hormone treatment, gender marker change letters, anti-discrimination letters for work or school, and referral letters for gender affirming surgeries. We look forward to seeing you soar! WPATH and Informed Consent Model.
Medical Weight Loss and Metabolic Health
Some psychiatric conditions, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and ADHD, are associated with increased risk for weight problems, metabolic dysfunction, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, independent of medications. In addition, psychiatric medications, while they can be life-saving and transformative, sometimes cause weight gain and metabolic changes as side effects. We believe that you shouldn’t have to choose between your mental and physical health. We can help you lose weight and manage metabolic health while staying on the medications that work best for you. Eating Disorder and Trauma Informed.
Hormone Therapy
Hormonal imbalance, insufficiency, and changes associated with midlife and aging can sometimes lead to psychiatric problems such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, irritability, cognitive problems, and insomnia. We can test your hormone levels and prescribe customized conventional and/or bioidentical hormone therapy including estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, DHEA, and combination therapies in a variety of preparations to help you improve your mental health. We can help with women’s hormonal optimization, men’s hormonal optimization, gender affirmation, and replacing hormone depletion caused by perimenopause, menopause, and hypogonadism.
Nutritional Psychiatry
What we eat affects everything about us, including mental health. When the quality of our food is poor, our physical, cognitive, and emotional state suffers. We can assess your current nutritional state, analyze your current diet, check your nutrient levels, and recommend dietary changes, vitamins, superfoods, and other supplements that will help you optimize your physical and mental health. For mild conditions, nutritional psychiatry may be sufficient to treat your symptoms on its own, and for more severe disorders, it can be a great complement to psychiatric medications, psychotherapy, and other psychiatric treatments.
What is Wellness?
At Owl & Eagle Health and Wellness, our philosophy is right in our name. Our overarching goal is the pursuit of Wellness. Wellness means striving for optimal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Wellness is not about achieving perfection. It’s about constantly seeking growth, connecting with others, appreciating the beauty of the world around you, and enjoying being alive. We provide all of our care with the ultimate goal of Wellness in mind. Thank you for choosing us to accompany and assist you on your path toward mental and physical Wellness. We are so grateful for this opportunity.
Individual Wellness Services
Far too often, medical care focuses on disease rather than health, and specific disorders rather than the whole person. Through collaboration with our friends at ONE Wellness Denver we can connect you with individual wellness services that can positively impact all aspects of your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Whether you relax and revitalize with a massage, pamper yourself with an esthetics treatment, or go on a journey of self-exploration with an individual natural medicine session, you can trust that you will receive safe, effective, personalized treatment and TLC.
Group Wellness Services
Group wellness classes can help you connect with like minded people, create community, and have fun, while you work toward maximal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. ONE Wellness Denver, our affiliate practice, offers seminars, yoga, meditation, breathwork, ecstatic dance, and soundbath sessions to help you relax, relieve stress, move your body, connect with your spiritual side, and experience joy. When you’re ready to go deeper, join us for a multi-day retreat to open your mind and heart, explore who you are and who you want to be, or experience a natural medicine treatment in a safe environment, with the guidance of licensed facilitators and the support of fellow explorers.

“The advice I’d give to somebody that’s silently struggling is, you don’t have to live that way. You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be unsilent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it, because you must share your experience with people so that you can get the help that you need.” — Demi Lovato
