Deirdre Fraller, DNP, ANP, PMHNP
Founder, CEO, and Clinical Director (she/her)
“I have an informal and non-judgmental approach that will help you relax and feel comfortable. I will get to know you as an individual, help you identify what you would like to change about your mental health, and work with you as a team.
I perform a thorough diagnostic evaluation including a full history and in-depth investigation of symptoms, and develop a holistic treatment plan that can include medication, psychotherapy, and cutting-edge evidence-based treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
I will help you appreciate yourself as you are, while working to get even better. I can’t wait to get to know you, learn about your struggles and successes, and help you work toward your best possible life!”
Dr. Fraller is the CEO and Clinical Director of Owl & Eagle Health and Wellness. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at UNC-Chapel Hill, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Vanderbilt University. She is board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and has been working as an NP in neurology and psychiatry since 2012. In a past life she was a member of a roller-derby squad and a burlesque dance team in San Francisco. She still loves roller skating and dancing, although these days she wears more appropriate clothing and tries harder not to fall down.

Esmeray Gutierrez, RN, MS
N
Certified Life Coach, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Intern (they/them)
“I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, and moved to Denver three years ago. I celebrate my love of my Latinx and Mexican heritage through cuisine, music and the arts. I have worked as a psychiatric nurse in the inpatient setting for 6 years, while pursuing my Masters degree. I am also
a Certified Life Coach, bringing clinical and lived experience to my Coaching practice. I specialize in Coaching teens and young adults with Autism, ADHD, and Gender Diversity.
Through Coaching, I help patients improve their social skills, time management, and emotional regulation. I
incorporate play therapy techniques when appropriate, to help children and adults who are young at heart develop creative outlets of communication. Play therapy offers clients a medium of expression to process lived experiences while addressing psychological and behavioral issues.”
Esmeray completed a year of supervised clinical hours at Owl & Eagle during their Masters program. They graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing in May of 2025, and are now completing a Clinical Internship at Owl & Eagle over Summer 2025. After completing their national board examination and licensure, they will be joining our practice as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. During their Internship, they will continue to provide Life Coaching services, and will provide psychiatric services under the direct supervision of Dr. Fraller, including diagnostic evaluations, medication management, play therapy, and talk therapy. They will begin practicing independently as a nurse practitioner upon receiving licensure.
Esmeray treats patients ages 5 and up at our Denver location and can provide visits in English and Spanish. In their free time, Esmeray enjoys watching anime, playing video games, and joining friends in a card game of Magic the Gathering.
Mental and Metabolic Health and Wellness
Annie Silverwood MSN, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner (she/her)
“In my previous work in primary and urgent care, I found that patient’s mental and physical health are inseparably linked, but mental health needs are not always prioritized. I decided I wanted to work in a practice where I could help people with both, which is what drew me to Owl and Eagle.
When people are struggling with their mental health, they don’t always have the energy or focus to engage in self-care behaviors like eating a healthy diet and exercising. In addition, psychiatric medications often cause weight gain and metabolic changes that can make maintaining health more difficult. I’m here to help!
I diagnose and treat depression, anxiety, and ADHD, and work with patients to implement good self care practices, so they can achieve their health and fitness goals. For patients who need to lose weight or improve their metabolic health, I employ the latest innovations in medical weight loss including weight loss medications, nutrition and exercise plans, and vitamins and supplements to help you reduce risk of disease and add quality years to your life.
Through counseling, I can help you identify and release beliefs that hold you back, and help you love yourself as you are, while you work to improve your health. My purpose is to provide individualized, highly motivating, compassionate care, to set you up for sustained success. With your commitment, we will develop a holistic treatment plan incorporating nutrition, lifestyle, and pharmacological interventions to help you improve your mental health and achieve optimal wellness."
Annie studied Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise with a concentration in Dietetics and earned her Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech Polytechnic Institute in 2011. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte in 2011 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in 2015. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner since 2016.
Annie sees patients age 12 and older for depression, anxiety, ADHD, medical weight loss, metabolic health conditions, and wellness care. She provides visits in person at our Denver and Golden locations and via telehealth throughout Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys live music, reading, yoga, meditation, hiking, gardening and everything the beautiful state of Colorado has to offer.
